  • When should I seek couples therapy?

Some common signs that it might be time to try couples therapy include repetitive fights, fights over small things, difficulty finding resolution, and extra emotional sensitivity towards each other. Other couples start because they have experienced betrayal or trauma in their relationship and need help processing it.

  • What kind of therapy is best for couples?

Emotion-Focused Couples therapy is an effective and empirically supported therapy type that has a high success rate for couples*.This therapy helps couples better understand themselves and each other to build stronger bonds of connection.  I have been trained in EFT and use it with all my couple clients.
